Pokémon Go has distributed a Special Research set, “Glitz and Glam,” that rewards the mythical Pokémon Diancie to all who complete at least four steps of it. Finishing the whole thing will give you Mega Energy to Mega Evolve Diancie.
The steps for this Special Research aren’t anything too difficult — it’s mostly stuff that will complete automatically just from playing the game. Along the way, you’ll get Pokémon encounters and other rewards, none of which are too shabby for a free research set. (Hello, free Lucky Egg!)

Rewards: 2,000 XP, Roggenrola encounter, 1 Lure Module
Rewards: 2,000 XP, Sableye encounter, 1 Incense
Rewards: 2,000 XP, Carbink encounter, 1 Lucky Egg
Rewards: 2,000 XP, Diancie encounter, 2,000 Stardust
If you already have a Diancie from the 2023 Go Fest research, then you’ll get 25 Diancie Candy instead.
Rewards: 2,000 XP, 300 Diancie Mega Energy, 3 Razz Berries
